There is so much to do at Camp Thornwood and lots of ways to engage the community. Below are links to the various resources you will want to check out.
The Attendees Only area has links to everything you need. You can also update your badge name, comment, pronouns, and other information. If you think you missed an email, we will have a link to it in the attendees area (aka Community System).
Login to the Attendees Only AreaThe Draft Schedule is the best guide to what is happening at Camp Thornwood. The At-A-Glance is the official document of what's happening, when, and where. Its always a "draft" as this is where we change things at the last minute if we need to. Attendees will receive a printed copy in their registration packet upon arrival.
Available in AugustWe have a huge and active community on Fetlife. Its a great place to ask questions, connect with others, and find out what's happening at Camp. The Fetlife group is open to attendees and non-attendees.
https://fetlife.com/groups/756Discords are all the rage ... and we absolutely have one. Our discord is loaded up with all the workshops, Special Events, and Ions. It's also a great place to chat with other attendees, read their introductions and check out the ISO thread. The discord is for Attendee's only and there is an invite in your initial confirmation email or listed in the Attendees Area ... like all the rest of our official information.
Check Attendees Area for Discord InviteFor a handful of essential roles that require a bit more time and care, we rely on a small group of dedicated volunteers. If you’re able to commit 6–12 hours over the course of the weekend, we’re happy to offer a registration discount in appreciation for your support.
Volunteer spots are limited, and we prioritize these opportunities for those experiencing financial hardship who might not otherwise be able to attend.
IONs are camper-created pop-up events - playful, weird, heartfelt, or just plain fun. These are DIY happenings dreamed up and led by you, our fellow Thornwood adventurers. Want to host a rope demo, run a sexy scavenger hunt, lead a guided meditation, or test out a new workshop idea? An ION is the perfect place to share it.
We have space for about 15–20 IONs over the weekend, and creativity is highly encouraged - games, mixers, art projects, rituals, movement, storytelling, experiments… If it brings people together, it’s welcome.Once you’ve registered, you’ll find the ION submission form in the Attendee Area.
And here’s a perk: hosting an ION counts as your community chore. Because sharing your brilliance is more than enough.
